Artistic Water-Wise Landscapes

May contain: road, gravel, pebble, path, plant, rubble, and rock

"Artistic Water-Wise Landscapes" is an exhibit going on now at the Maturango Museum. The exhibit shows photographs of landscapes in Ridgecrest that use a variety of techniques to minimize the use of water in an artistic and pleasing way.  The techniques shown give the viewer artistic ideas of how to create a more water-wise and pleasing landscape through use of gravel, pavers, block, concrete, river rock, decomposed granite, and artwork. The exhibit runs from May 15 – October 31, 2023 but may be extended to December 1, 2023.

The Maturango Museum is open Monday – Saturday, 10am – 5pm and on Sunday from 12pm - 4pm.

“Artistic Water-Wise Landscapes” is supported in part by the Arts Council of Kern.
