The regular meeting scheduled for 7/14/26 has been canceled and replaced by two special meetings in July. The first , on July 1, 2026, will take place at 5:00 PM at 1551 W. Howell St. in Ridgecrest. It will be a special workshop for 2026-27 planning. The second will feature a guest speaker, Dr. Mandeep Riar, Restoration Ecology and Weed Science Advisor of UC College of Agricultural and Natural Resources, who will discuss "Land Fallowing in California: Challenges and Alternatives."  It will take place at 4:30 PM on July 16, 2026, in the small conference room of the Ridgecrest United Methodist Church, 639 N. Norma St., Ridgecrest.
