Eastern Kern County Resource Conservation District Is Soliciting Bids for:

Specialists to do surveys for NEPA permitting on BLM land in the El Paso Mountains, northern Mojave Desert:

·         Biologist to do biological assessment/biological evaluation of flora and fauna including rare, threatened, and endangered species of plants and animals;

·         Archeologist to do assessment of cultural/archeological resources.

The restoration project will restore habitat around wildlife guzzlers that has been damaged by unauthorized off-road vehicle use. The biological/archeological assessment will survey 25 feet in all directions outside the fence line of each of 10 guzzlers.

Ideally field work should be completed by October 31, 2025. Final report due December 31, 2026.
